Inspired by mushrooms and their reproduction through spores, as well as the expression "áspera" from diverse Colombia, our name was born. Although our core is in Leipzig, we aim to spread these spores within the local club scene and gradually develop to a higher level. Áspora was created with the intention of becoming a platform (both online and physical) that builds bridges and connections between artists, labels, and communities. From the diaspora for the diaspora – not only from Abya Yala but also from the Global South.

Calentura Berlin is a collective founded in the spring of 2020 to organize music and dance events in public spaces. Our goal is to establish our Latin American roots in the Berlin cultural scene, promote exchanges with the local music scene, and create new perspectives for cultural experiences. A central aspect that defines us is the idea of music as a means of fostering social cohesion and as a driver for transformation processes.
